I live in Buffalo, NY
I'll always remember going into Home of the Hits Record Store one day in the mid 80's and seeing Lita Ford's Out for Blood album staring right at me. I of course stared back for quite a while & then purchased it! Sure I was staring because of her beauty but I also couldn't believe this was the same Lita Ford from the Runaways as to me she looked totally different from the Runaways days. Out for Blood is a great album but overall my favorite Lita album is Dancin' on the Edge. I really liked her last studio album "Living Like a Runaway" as well especially Devil in My Head, A Song to Slit Your Wrist to, & her phenomenal cover of Elton John's "Bitch is Back" which brings me to her new live album which I will be getting soon. I read a couple reviews that praise the album but complained because a few songs were not included but those songs were on her previous Greatest Hits Live album along with a cool cover of Montrose's "Rock Candy".
I have all of Lita's albums & enjoy all even Wicked Wonderland. I know she went through some very bad times with her now ex husband after/during the release of the album but I really liked the album as it was different, heavier, & much Darker than anything she put out. I think the songs Crave & Scream for me are really great tunes. I seen her in concert shortly before the release of Wicked Wonderland & WoW! That's all I can say but she was so great live (I believe I wrote a review for it here on this site). Unfortunately, I was having really bad back issues & only made it through about 7 tune. She looked phenomenal & just kicked total ass! My favorite Lita Ford tune by far is... Larger than Life from Dangerous Curves. I always felt that if I was asked to name a kick ass tune that would be near the top of my list.

The Whiskey.... the outside advertisements look different, but overall, this building looks the same as it did many many years ago when SO many great artists played there. Hell, we could have a thread designated JUST for the Whiskey and all of the artists that have been there over the years that went on to fame and fortune.

Anyone listened to the Time Capsule album?

It's from her 80's vault.....

You can skip the intro on the album....it's awful! But the rest of the album is pretty good.

The special guests on the album are pretty impressive. Jeff Scott Soto, Bruce Kulick and Gene Simmons from KISS, Blues Saraceno, Dave Navarro, Billy Sheehan and both Robin Zander and Rick Neilsen from CHEAP TRICK all show up throughout Time Capsule.

Hendrix cover - Little Wing
