Soot and Stars
I AM SOOT!
I don't know! I hate musical restrictions. I say try it all. Seriously, one song in a career that could actually come out as something interesting. I say go for it.
^^^ That's spot on, plus Kesha has really juvenile silly lyrics in her songs. At least Gaga can be somewhat artistic at times.
I mean, I can't really take an artist seriously when she doesn't even know how to spell her own name correctly. Put a damn S in your name, a dollar sign doesn't work.
You're being very silly. Led Zeppelin. Enuff Z'Nuff. 2pac. ..........THE BEATLES. I mean, heck even Jimi spelled his name wrong. And I guess you've got no love for my favorite Roy Buchanan song, Roy's Bluz.
People already hate Kiss and Ke$ha. Not everyone sees the two as enemies, though. More than a few people are noticing how closely connected the ideology of glam and hair metal is to modern pop. The artists themselves seem to also see the connection, which is probably why Paul brought this up in the first place.
The thing about Gaga is that she is indeed somewhat more artistic, and she has a much more extravagant opinion of her role as artiste. Which puts her more in league with someone like Axl than with Kiss, if you ask me. Gaga wants to have a message, and she does. And I love her for it.
Axl's artistic?
If I were going to pick a classic icon that I'd like to see GaGa work with...I'd go with David Bowie. They've both got the theatrics and the artistic thing going for them. Plus, I'd be happy with ANYTHING that gets Bowie out of retirement.
Well...KISS fans need not fret. At least for now anyway. Queen's Brian May have mentioned that he has discussed Lady GaGa singing with them. Here's an excerpt...
"Gaga, whose stage name was inspired by Queen's 1984 hit 'Radio Ga Ga,' has been in talks with Queen guitarist Brian May about the collaboration, as May told Britain's Daily Express. "We talk about going out on the road all the time but there's a bit of a singer problem to put it mildly. We get a lot of offers to work with other people. I worked with Lady Gaga and she's very creative and is someone we've talked about singing, fronting the band with."
