I really enjoy George Michael's solo stuff and his voice in particular. And NO, I'm not talking about his Wham! pop era or his overly sexed out songs. He has sang a number of really beautiful jazzy, smooth, slow songs during his career... a lot of which appear on albums like Older, Patience and even some on Listen Without Prejudice. Also, when he sang Somebody To Love during the Freddie Mercury tribute concert, it was just the perfect version for me. His voice fit in like a glove! Eons better than Adam Lambert or whoever Queen is trying out right now.

Well, and I promise I'm serious here, I have an immense liking, respect and appreciation for this guys musical creativity and talent! I correlate him with patterns I see in the evolution of my favorite rock artist!

Not a popular argument among Maiden fans but I actually don't think NOTB is as fantastic as people say. I mean the material is decent but a fair amount of it does nothing for me as a listener. I think the album on each side of it are both better.

Slayer fans never want to admit it but they have released a bad album or two.

I love Slayer but yeah they have put out some nu-metal influnced releases that are not up to Slayer standards.
I think lots people will side with u on that. The notb thing not so much haha..

A lot of die-hard Slayer fanatics don't side with anyone who opposes on anything slightly when it comes to Slayer. xD
