Worst of the worst...Justen Bieber is most current hated, then back when was Kiss. there so much a like...both play nothing but bubble gum music.

When it comes to the worst bands, I think I must mention the England football supporters' band, aka 'The Pukka Pies England Band':

Until I read this I didn't know they had any recorded output - I can't say I was surprised to see that the Great Escape theme was the first of their two releases, and even less surprised to see that their second release was a different version of the Great Escape theme.
I can think of several reasons why they are worthy of consideration for this ignominious title:
- They play the same few songs over and over (The Great Escape, Self Preservation Society etc). And over and over again...
(Unfortunately, they don't play Zeppelin's 'The Song Remains The Same')
- The action on the pitch seemingly has no bearing on the songs they play.
- They drown out any creative chanting or songs for individual players or managers.
- What kind of band has a corporate sponsor as part of their name? I'm not aware of even any boy bands doing this (I would be both horrified and delighted to be proven wrong!).

I don't care for Beiber's music, but it's not the worst by a long stretch.
Being a softball coach during his, uh... rise to fame (that's not the right word, I know. One day he wasn't there, the next day he was everywhere), I not only got to hear most of his stuff, I also got to hear a bunch of 12-13 kids singing* right along with it.
His music is harmless, benign pop that I never knew when one song ended and the next began.
The kid could sing, but it seems now all he does is act like a punk.
*It's a good thing those kids could hit, because thety sure couldn't sing.
For me, the worst music (I'm gonna catch it for this) was that underground stuff from the early to mid 70s. Lou Reed, Iggy, The Dolls, etc.
It's painful to listen to for me.

You've obviously never really listened to the first 3 Kiss albums or the first live Kiss album.
You can call them a lot of things, but in their early days they weren't a bubble gum band.

Actually, one of the prerequisites of being an AC/DC fan back then was being angry.
