The return of Emerson, Lake and Palmer on Warners' offshoot, Victory Records, excited me and it takes a lot to excite me. Black Moon was a bit of a damp squib, considering they had nineties technology, but their comeback live performances were better than the original vinyl. When Golden Earring also came back, I was beside myself with joy. Grunge meant a return to heavy and prgoressive rock for a while, so it was all good. A few bands I latched onto in the nineties were Blue Murder, Badlands, Jagged Edge, Stiltskin, Temple of the Dog, Spock's Beard, The Tea Party and Masters of Reality.
