deicide OVER-DOIN' bLACK nIGHT

Wilson Pickett's version of The Beatles 'Hey Jude' is awesome with Duanne Allman on Guitar.
I love his version of The Supremes 'You Keep Me Hangin' On' as well. Vanilla Fudge did a psychedelic version which Wilson developed his version from. I love all three versions but the Wilson Pickett version is the best, I think.
I could not find Wilson Pickett's version on You Tube but posted the Vanilla Fudge version instead (Just for the dancing girls..............lol)
I thought the original was sung by some other woman in the 1940s? I could be wrong, but I thought that's what it was. According to the writing credits in my Led Zeppelin I booklet, it says "Anne Bredon". ???Zeppelin's "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You," originally by Joan Baez =)
Man I love that cover! Better than the original imo!Ah, Wilson Pickett's "Hey Jude" is fantastic.
Speaking of Beatles covers, what about "With A Little Help From My Friends" by Joe Cocker? Fantastic cover!
