Cool. Is that a single? Midnight Highway is a song off of Breaker that seemed to be an attempt at a radio friendly tune so I'm wondering.

Found this one in my vinyl collection... forgot I even had it!

HAHA I just came in here to post about listening to that album for the first time even though it's been in my vinyl collection for probably 6 years now. I though it was a regular release so now I know better. Gonna listen to the rest of the really early stuff I have that I haven't heard before, in the next few up coming days.

I'm familiar w/ and own Metal Heart and other less obscure Accept LPs, but some of the really early stuff that I pick up in Ebay vinyl lots years ago, I still have no idea about .

I remember seeing that from an old friend of mine wayyyy abck in the day. That cover sparked my intrest with Accept, though I never got it. My first was Restless and Wild, which he also had. I fell in love with the cover on first site and the music upon first listen. :grinthumb

Didn't they start using a different cover for Restless and Wild once they made it big? I sort of remember some other cover rather than the two burning Vs but maybe it's just a bad cobweb.

My first was Breaker and that was before Restless came out. I was lucky enough to have a friend who also had the first two albums so by the time Restless came out I was actually very interested in buying it.

Oh God thanks. I was thinking I might be remembering something incorrectly. Yeah, what was wrong with the burning Vs? That is one of the cooler album covers and a sort of trademark for Accept.

The cover with burning guitars is a German pressing only, outside Germany it was replaced with a shot of the band live in concert.

Wow, I used to have that and it was bought in an American store. I got it for a birthday present along with Angel Witch's first album. Both were expensive because they were imports.

We saw their very first show in the US at the Bayou in DC. It was one of the best concerts I ever saw and they actually played a few older songs as encores. I later met Wolf Hoffman (well, met is a little exadurated since the music was so loud in the bar and his accent was so heavy I couldn't really understand him) after they played Hammerjacks in Baltimore the next year after the Balls tour. He was a really nice guy. You could tell he was far more interested in being left alone to talk to some of the fine ladies that were there that night but he kept answering questions right up till the time one of my friends got all fanboy and started pushing pens and paper at him.

Very great live act.

Any thoughts on Eat The Heat album?
X-T-C is such a great opener to me and the drum beat...
