‎"When it comes to making out, whenever possible, put on side one of Led Zeppelin IV."

Fast Times at Ridgemont High, right? It's been so long since I've seen that movie but all I remember in it was Kashmir. :grinthumb

Four years ago today, the band reunited for The Ahmet Ertegun Memorial Concert...

MP Edit: Video removed from Youtube

Wish I could have been one of the privileged few to have been there for such an event. I read those tickets sold out in minutes (if not less) online. People waiting worldwide for that and I really wish Jimmy would lighten up and release the footage on DVD but from what I hear he was unsatisfied with it. He's nothing if not a perfectionist though. ;)

Which isn't even on IV. I always found it a little funny that such an obvious mistake would have been missed.

Maybe they had a hard time getting Jimmy to allow them the rights to the songs from IV? Makes no sense though with Kashmir included in there. Jimmy is a stickler for their music being used.

I see albums in shops that aren't Led Zep but Robert Plant and Jimmy Page do together. Are they like a little side project they did, and are they worth checking out too??

These two Riff ?

Not everyone's cup of tea but I rate them and to be honest the No Quarter gig was one of the best I have ever attended. The music was brilliant. A different slant on some of the old Zep classics, with a middle eastern feel. Walking into Clarksdale is a solid enough album, blues tinged feel with plenty of atmosphere IMO.

I think you'd enjoy Kashmir from No Quarter JP and RP Unledded Riff, though I'm just not much of a fan of Robert's vocals anymore so I never really got into their collaborative ventures. :(

Have any of you ever heard of *** Zeppelin, an all female LZ cover band? They're coming to play here at the end of the month and I'm considering getting tickets. :grinthumb

I should check this cover band out, like to see how they perform the originals.

The YouTube vids I've seen of them are not impressive. Guess you'd have to be there to hear them better. But the studios I've heard aren't half bad! I'd go just to feel that LZ "experience" if for nothing more. :grinthumb
