He was a wrestler too! "Count Massimo"... I bet he can put you in a good head lock. :grinthumb

Now we know how he got all the venue heads to give up so much dough.

Grant instituted the policy of the artist taking 90% of the gate receipts. He did all the work of renting the arena and all the assorted legwork of promotions. He made the band rich especially Led Wallet Page.

Like I said, Genius! :cheers2

I'm ashamed to say I'm not a huge fan of bootlegs
Nothing to be ashamed of. Bootlegs are typically poor quality recordings and in reality, are more of a collector's thing than something most people want to listen to.

Personally, I'd rather listen to a professionally polished recording or even a raw soundboard recording over something that someone recorded with some handheld device, especially with the stuff from the 60's and 70's. Most of what I've heard from many concerts is pretty brutal.

But for those that like 'em, more power to ya. It's not my thing.

I have to agree, almost every bootleg I have listened to is lacking in sound quality, which as everyone in the pen knows is Hugely Important to me.

Picked up some Superb versions of their albums recently, I'll be back to post them when I have more time.

That's the reason I want to pick them up. gcc gave me some good websites for them and I can't really call myself a superfan until I add at least some to my collection. :grinthumb
