I know some people will call this a tragedy, but I am not one of them. When someone dies (whether they are famous or not) due to stupid lifestyle choices (booze, drugs, whatever).... I just dont find that "tragic". Sad? perhaps. Unfortunate? sure. Tragic? Nah.
Tragic deaths (to me) would be people that had zero control over a situation from which they died - such as: Stevie Ray Vaughan (helicopter crash), Members of Lynyrd Skynyrd (airplane crash), Cliff Burton (Bus crash), John Lennon (murdered), etc. Dying of a heroine or cocaine overdose, drinking yourself to death, etc.... just doesn't fall into the realm of 'tragic' to me.
