Mr Kite
It's this time of year in which Australians and New Zealanders look back and salute the brave men and women who have fought for their country and their way of life, quite often costing them their own lives.
Regardless on your political views on any war that has been fought - from the World Wars, to Korea and Vietnam, to Afghanistan and Iraq - the armed forces deserve our respect for the work they do. They don't make the decision to go to war, but they are the ones that pay the ultimate price for it.
So, to the Soldiers, Sailors and Pilots of the Australian and New Zealand Armed Forces, and to all their allies around the world:
We Salute You.
Also, a shout out to my Grandpa, a World War II veteran who served in Papua New Guinea, and who is missing his first ANZAC Day as he's currently in hospital following a stroke
