Re: The Official KISS Thread!

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^It's still kind of close for me. I really like Shock Me(which between that & I Stole Your Love it almost gives Love Gun the win for me),Hooligan & Tomorrow & Tonight too! I do like the "lame" songs (I don't know if lame is the right word I would use but I don't know what word to use(wimpier doesn't really work for me either LOL) Anyway...You're right the 2 combined would have made a kick Ass record so I combined them the way I would have loved! This wasn't a knock against the other songs because I do love them I just took what I think are the best from each one & combined they do sound like they could fit together nice on one album.

"I Stole Your Love" (Love Gun)
"Take Me" (R & R Over)
"Calling Dr. Love"
"Shock Me" (Love Gun)
"Love Gun" (Love Gun)
"Makin' Love" (R & R Over)
"Hooligan" (Love Gun)
"I Want You" (R & R Over)
"See You in Your Dreams" (R & R Over)
"Tomorrow and Tonight" (Love Gun)
***For single purposes add "Hardluck Woman" & "Christine 16" if you want

I think I would have put in "Almost Human" instead of "Tomorrow and Tonight" and I probably would have used "Mr Speed" over "See You in Your Dreams", but either way, it's a great album...
I agree, "lame" isn't the word I was really looking for. Maybe weaker?

There you go!!!! weaker sounds better! I knew & understood what you meant but I couldn't think of a word either! I prefer Mr. Speed to See You in Your Dreams but I was going for a harder song to fit in there. I love the music for Baby Driver but I don't think much of the lyrics on that one otherwise I would've added that. I put that list as a playlist on my Ipod this morning & listened to it. Man that did kick ass. "Making Love" is one of those Great underated Kiss songs. The band is really in high gear on that one

Now that I know how to do the old grooveshark thing on the site... I think I just might have to put this song into my signature file.

I will NEVER tire of hearing this song, particularly the version from Alive!

You're so right on that one Lynch I love the Alive Version. Always great to see live when Paul messes around on guitar before it begins. Although I didn't care for when they added those little guitar parts during the ending BONGS on a couple of the tours but that's just me being a picky Kissfreak! Black Diamond is one of the greatest Kiss tunes! It is an all around well written tune

And I am considering picking this one up as well, Bucky seems to really like it, and the Bobbleheads...well I thought they looked great...:heheh:

I wonder if I did pick up the Bobbleheads whether MP would make me an Honorary member of the KISS Army...

ALL good choices man! :cheers2 And yeah, Love Gun is also a hell of an album. The high points are right up there with the best stuff Kiss did in the 70's. (Ie; I Stole Your Love, Shock Me, etc)

only if you put them on the dashboard of your car. If you buy them and put them on a shelf somewhere, then you may just have to go the route of the KISS Army application-for-membership route.

Just put a pound of back bacon and a six-pack of Black Label in the backseat, no one up in your neck of the woods would even notice the bobbles. black-label-1988sm.jpg

Wow LG, I didn't even get the Bobblehead Dolls yet!!! I always like to sneak some Kiss stuff on display in our Living room when my wife's not around & then a few weeks later she notices & takes them down. It's an ongoing game for me.

Yeah, if you enjoy Rock & Roll Over you'll also enjoy Love Gun. Make sure you check out Strange Ways on Hotter Than Hell (It's one of my Fav Kiss songs)

Another Heavy Kiss album I like is Carnival of Souls. Spanky Madoo & myself were just discussing that album & Revenge.
