LEMMY DISLIKES RAP AND POP MUSIC
Brought To You By VH1’s Dave Basner

Lemmy Kilmister probably isn’t someone you’ll find listening to Eminem or Kanye West. The Motorhead frontman told the Atlantic City Weekly that hip-hop is “not music,” adding, “There’s nothing creative about [rapping] over music someone else has created.” Lemmy isn’t into pop music either, saying, “What the f**k is it about John Mayer? Someone should explain him to me. And the same goes for Justin Bieber. They’re all such boring people. They’re so serious.” Read more at AtlanticCityWeekly.com.

I think this is ****ing great...And he hates that poser powder puff John Mayer too. Lemmy is a god. The guy cuts through the shit and tells it like it is. *** RAP, Mayer, and Beaver. I hope they are roasted like marshmallows over the flames of hell, with Satan's pitch fork stuck in their fat comercial asses. All hail Lemmy.

Lemmy put a beating on AOR and thus AOR dragged it's sorry azz from the '70's into the '80's morally defeated.:D

I should have been more specific in my post,,,I have no problem with old pop artists from the 60's to the 80's, but after that I do agree with Mr. Kilmister what they pass off as pop music now diminishes the entire genre.

hip-hop is “not music,”

This is nothing new...I've been saying this for years!

:heheh:

I got attacked on another Classic Rock site for saying rap/hip hop isn't even music...

no wonder why the place died.

And as far as pop goes....the 60's and 70's were great for pop...

Nowadays, pop is a dirty word in my book.

There is, I hear, a young fanbase for rockabilly and psychobilly here
in the UK. I think a lot of kids want out from all this x factor product.
