Wow. That was beautiful.
No Doubt: I didn't particularly like it. They played great songs, so they couldn't really mess it up. But I think that they didn't play their music with enough passion and soul. They did what any Beatles cover/tribute band could do. Nothing really special, just sticking to the original song.
Dave Grohl/Norah Jones: Grohl was awesome. I really love that song but I would have liked to hear him play another one. He was great but it was not the best choice for him. Jones, she was too calm. Not enough passion. I mean, you're honoring Paul ****in McCartney, try to be a little excited.
Steven Tyler: I'm not a big fan of his Aerosmith or anything, but I have to admit I cried a little with his performance. THAT was a good tribute. Great choice of songs, he showed a lot of 'soul' and was the best in my opinion.
Taylor/Staples: Taylor was quite good. I also think he should've played along a bit longer. Staples: Didn't really like her, I dn't even know who she is. But she gave a special taste to the ending. Not the best way to end the show, she was just average.
I also cried a little in the Hey Jude part. That was awesome. That song has a special magic that makes everybody join in and be just like one.
