I thought Maiden did a good job on this album, although many hard core fans didn't take to it when it came out...about 6.75 on this one so I'll give it a "Great" rating.
Two great Maiden cuts came off here...Deja Vu and Heaven Can Wait....
Also we have Caught Somewhere In Time, Alexander The Great (EPIC), the giant hit Wasted Years...and the the other epic, The Loneliness Of The Long Distance Runner...
Maiden took somewhat of a different direction on this album which IMO sounds like the band somewhat slightly trending to "mainstream" metal of that time. Average.
^^ that was very well put Bob, I was just drawing a comparison from both bands that did attempt to change their sound a little bit on those two albums, like so many other bands were doing back then. I actually don't mind Turbo, I like bands experimenting with different things, sometimes it is an epic failure and other times it is a stunning achievement.
