^ Oh don't get me wrong. Flaming people sucks. Bashing someone for their beliefs is nothing I'm with. I just think people should stop taking things so offensively because there is no REAL solution for it. Especially when it comes from a computer and the person who said it is usually thousands of miles away.

I agree, it doesn't take any guts to do it either. I can vent my spleen about anyone or any subject without personally insulting the person I am talking to, either in person or online. It is a choice you make about how you go about handling yourself, and I just like to treat people the way I want to be treated.

^^Sorry my young friend, I find nothing chivalrous about using a computer to attack anyone for any reason...as I said spammers, forum wars, flaming are the things that would convince me to retire from all this.

I have never said anything to anyone online that I wouldn't say face to face, and you have to admit the new generation takes a lot of comfort in their anonymity, although I could choose a different word.

If people really hate what Gene stands for they can use forums/blogs/FB or numerous other ways to vent their feelings, vandalizing a website/homepage or spreading fallacious rumours online are gutless in my opinion and that's never going to change.

Never heard of them spreading rumours about him, but if so that is idiotic. LG it is not just kids that are apart of this group. It is really a group of hackers who are anonymous (as of now, but according to Gene he has found out a few of their names which I highly doubt). I have never said anything on here I would not say to anyone in person as well. There are many people in their 40's and 50's who use the internet for even more viscious reasons then hacking, spamming, and flamming. Some use it to stalk and prey on children and also adults. Just a said fact of life now with the internet. If you allow the few bad seeds to spoil your fun then that is on you, but I do not let it really bother me unless I have someone try to **** with me online (spamming, flamming, hacking, spreading rumours.) I have had a few people do so who were former friends, but I am still here.

Gene deserves it IMO. We will have to agree to disagree. I see it as the only way to get to a pompous rock star who would probably hide behind his lawyers if confronted face to face. He has said sue first think later. So not to far fetched to think he would do such a cowardly thing. Reminds me of Nugent with his big mouth, but when someone confronted him face to face his bad ass attitude turned into a cowardly individual hiding behind his security guards with his tail in between his legs.

Best way to hit him is financially. He wants to screw around he happened to screw with people who know how to get at him. I see it as very strategic. Especially when this idiot posts his assinine comments on the site that was hacked. Probably hurt him a bit. Shows people do not have to stand around and be bullied by someone with money and fame. Yes it can be turned into a bad thing, but this was funny IMO and very interesting. Gene is fighting a losing battle here.

As far as "owning a website about yourself" and that being wrong? Couldn't disagree more...all bands have them...it's called self promotion. I know...KISS already has a band website but Gene has a T.V. show (that I don't watch) and many other projects that he is self promoting. Also he has a solo box set coming out soon.

Hurt him enough that he wants to track down who hacked the site. The amount of traffic that goes through there is probably very high in numbers. So shutting it down for a bit could **** up the money he gets.

If they wanted to they could have shut his site down for much longer or linked it to another site.

Meh..it was back up in a couple days. The stuff he self promotes, most fans know about already. Two days or whetever isn't gonna change anything all that much. IMO it's all ego on both sides and lovin' a good battle.

To be honest this whole thing is probably makin' him more $$$

Attention/Press, is one of the greatest sources of income in show biz, whether it's good or bad.
