My favorite 2 decades are the 70s and 90s, Followed by the 80s, then the 60s, then 50s.. I like a good amount of jazz, a bit of country, and a bit of the rock from the last year or two of the fifties:heheh: And ninetees had a lot of good stuff going on for me.. everything from grunge to pop punk, really anything except rap.. I'm with LG on that subject except for a few songs:D
Least favorite is definitely the 2000s.. I think the present decade looks a bit hopeful, but the last one was awful.. definitely a low point

I really don't think the 2000's are the worst decade at all. There has been plenty of fantastic music, it just seems people haven't wanted to go looking for it.

Very, very few bands compared to others.. In 2010 alone I've found more bands that I like or at least are doing something original, not the same thing every other band and their mothers are doing:heheh: Granted, there is still a lot of awful music, but as goes with any decade there is a healthy mix of both, for the most part:grinthumb

I dunno about that at all. The 2000's have been a smorgasbord for the eclectic music lover like myself. Everything from wickedly original new bands to fantastic albums from legends of decades past, I was very happy with that decade.

It is all a matter of opinion, but I think there is so much that lacks passion IMO It sounds very dead to me.. but you are right about great albums by older bands.. Aside from the classic bands, I found barely anything of interest to me.. This new decade is looking pretty bright though:)

The 2000s just because I like more music from the other decades than I do from the 2000s. I have albums of a few artists but that is not very much for 10 years.

I think the 50s are getting a bad rap. You had to be there. 50s R&R shook the world and the world has never been the same since then. We loved it!
