Heh, @Romulus, you know my weakness. Every song from "Slaves and Masters" (including bonus track) always gets 10/10 from me. And all the people, who called this LP "Deep Rainbow" or "Deep Purple in Pop" - they can go to hell.

We sing from the same hymn sheet. For me 'Slaves and Masters' is superb in so many different aspects. Each song is so good it was quite difficult for me to choose a song for this thread. Ritchie for me really pulls the stops out in his playing and I really enjoy each track... Last but certainly not least I notice this album was recorded differently to all previously albums; I just wished all previous albums had the same recording specialist (if different...?) because it was such a clear improvement ( for me anyway)
