Soot and Stars
I AM SOOT!
EN
I love these ladies! They are the perfect mix of soul, sultriness, sass and sexiness and while I'm just reminiscing in this thread it comes with merit! At one point
Funky Divas
had more rotation than any music by any other artist in my collection. It may be my weirdest favorite artist as it held that transitional place where soul/hip-hop music was my thing before The Smashing Pumpkins brought me back to rock. I don't regret my En Vogue phase though because it was fun and the music holds up. Hell, IMO Free Your Mind is about as rock n' roll as it gets! Anyway, here's my favorite memorable tracks from their career!
Hold On
My Loving (You're Never Gonna Get It)
Giving Him Something He Can Feel
Free Your Mind
Give It Up, Turn It Loose
Whatta Man
Don't let Go (Love)
