40 years? This album really has stood the test of time nicely. Listening to it right now actually. Has the perfect blues/hard rock music I particularly go for.

Tres Hombres definitely stands the test of time! I seen ZZ Top on their Deguello & Eliminator tours which were phenomenal & in 2 weeks I will see them again at the Tuesday Night Summer Concerts in our area where most shows are only 5 bucks but ZZ Top is 10 bucks. 10 bucks for ZZ Top is still quite a good deal!

There is a Motorhead version, with Eddie Clarke taking second vocal, on the Motorhead album (1977). Clarke's voice is okay, but he and Lemmy don't harmonise very well There is also a Larry Wallis version, which I haven't heard.
