Interesting topic.

Again just random order and I do have some in common with everyone else so far, but I can think of a couple of others:

Highway Star - Deep Purple
Magic Carpet Ride - Steppenwolf (&)
Born To Be Wild - Steppenwolf
Highway 61 Revisted - Bob Dylan
Runnin' Down A Dream - Tom Petty
Love Shack - the B-52's
Church Of Logic, Sin & Love (by the little known one hit wonder) - the Men
Flirtin' With Disaster - Molly Hatchett (you have to be in the right frame of mind to drive with this song and make sure you are not drunk; otherwise the song becomes a self fulling prophesy :p)
How about something more recent: Holiday - Green Day
And something totally unique: Wishing Well - Terence Trent D'Arby

Yes another good one. The group's name would be, "Ram Jam".

I also thought of another real good driving song, that is actually being played by dj Glynn Shannon on Portland, OR's KGON (I listen to it on the internet) and that song would be:

"Life In The Fast Lane" by the Eagles

Space Truckin' (Deep Purple)
The Nile Song (Pink Floyd)
Communication Breakdown (Led Zeppelin)
The Wizard (Black Sabbath)
