You must log in screen / Permissions

It seems to me that there are some pages (new posts, profiles, etc) that you must log in to see. I think we may get a bit more activity if these pages were accessible without having to log in. The new and latest post page being the one I look at the most is not accessible without logging in. Sometimes this turns people away for the mere annoyance of logging in just to read a few posts.

I'm sure we want people to log in and or join up but sometimes I just want to read without taking the time to log in.

In the MC forum I read, the front page has a clicky for the latest active posts for all logged in or not. Can we do this here?

We had limited many options for unregistered users many months back because of some problems we had with abuse. I wasn't aware however that they couldn't see the 'today's post' link.

I went ahead and gave permission back for that option.
