Re: The Yes Thread

Nice list DKW...took me a while to get into Relayer when I first bought it years ago, but it has grown on me over the years.

What are your thoughts about 90125 and Big Generator?

I'm not a fan of 90125 or Big Generator. Those are the albums that
made me lose interest in the newer era Yes TBH.

Re: The Yes Thread

I agree about Big Generator, but 90125 I really enjoyed, it was such a huge departure for the band from their trademark sound, but just that album. When Drama came out I lost interest in them 90125 rekindled it for me.

Really ?!?!? Yeah, Drama wasn't my favorite either ( obviously haha )
Maybe I'll give Big Generator another listen .It's been probably 20 years.

Re: The Yes Thread

I never bought Big Generator, my brother owned a copy so I just listened to it a couple of times then it never got played again. 90125, after getting over the Shock and Awe of the completely different sound, I was impressed. Then again I love Tormato as well, and many Yes purists Hate that album with a passion.

Re: The Yes Thread

I like Tormato better than Going For the One, which puts me at odds with most Yes fans. I think that album showcases Chris Squire at his best, I just love his bass guitar on that record. Then I saw the tour the year that album came out so it all comes together for me.
