I just finished listening to their debut album, Limbo Panto and it's a ripper!

They're an indie rock band from England, formed in 2002 and headlined by lead singer Hayden Thorpe's infectious countertenor voice.

The instrumentation is mostly stripped down, and is reminiscent of fellow indie bands Grizzly Bear and The Temper Trap IMO.

However, you can judge for yourself after listening to a few of their tunes!








P.S: They also have some of the best video clips I've ever seen

I really think these guys are at their peak when there vocals get the strangest! I really got into Brave Bulging Buoyant Clairvoyants which it's Modest Mouse music and vocals stranger than that group ever imagined! And Modest Mouse is a strange group! they remind me of a pop group called Thriving Ivory that was moderately successful where I shouldn't like it because the vocals are far from appealing but they grip me at the same time! Cool find here Sal!

There's definitely a new trend going around nowadays of stripping down the music, fortunately for me I like it when bands do that! Or maybe I just like strange vocals, either way I'll be checking out Thriving Ivory!
