Yeah but they are not a Scottish band. They are an Australian formed band. Where members come from doesn't matter, its where the band formed and made its initial impact.
Anyone remember this Scottish band from the 80s ? WHITE CHINA from Dunfermline.They made a few singles/tv appearances and tipped to be Scotlands answer to U2, okay it never happened for them
For me it was Nazareth, who for me did the best ever rendition of Love Hurts. Dan McCafferty's voice is superb on that record and gives extra bite to the lyrics.
A Scottish band not been mentioned yet are MIDDLE OF THE ROAD .They had success with a few hits in the early 70s....probably remembered for their cheesy song "Chirpy chirpy Cheep Cheep " Take that away they were one of Scotlands hottest pop exports becoming huge stars across Europe for years.Singer Sally Carr was great !
