Hey guys, I'm Wendy and I'm new to Classic Rock Forums. i'm such a big fan of classic rock--Eric Clapton, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, The Eagles, and The Steve Miller Band. so i was digging through some of my classic rock stuff--CDs, cassettes, even vinyl records--can you believe it? so yeah, i happened to stumble upon one of The Steve Miller Band's old albums and decided to play it. can't believe music from the 70's and 80's just brings back the memories. Fly Like an Eagle and Joker are still so good after after all these years...good stuff!! anyway, as i was listening to this stuff, it occurred to me that SMB hasn't come out with new stuff in years so i decided to look em up to see what they've been up to. turns out on their stevemillerband.com website, says they're going to put out a DVD on May20th called Live from Chicago. i haven't been to one of their shows in such a long time so i guess this is as close as i get to seeing them perform live again. :****: sorry for the rant. so what are your favorite classic rock artists?

Well I love just about anything in the 64-74 period but would probably go with Steppenwolf, Byrds, America and the Buckinghams as my favorites.

Deep Purple, Rainbow and all things Blackmore tops my list. Also a big fan of Jeff Beck, Joe Walsh among countless others. By the way, welcome to the forum.
