The itunes gift card conundrum...
Received $45 in itunz cards, which is fine to this point as there are still a few Grateful Dead "download series" installments I haven't purchased; however, with only the Hampton '88 show remaining, I likely won't require more store credit because I can't imagine buying something digital that's otherwise available in physical media. This is in sharp contrast to just about all of my friends who have now moved on from their massive 20-30+ thousand-song iTunes singles' libraries to simply streaming on Spotify, et al.
Okay, back to thread relevancy: so, I picked up GOGD shows from Fall '71 and March '68 (primordial oozy, buzzy, feedbacky goodness), specifically -
which I'll likely weigh in on at the GD thread (it's Preposition Friday! "in on at").
Also, I bid-on-ebay-but-didn't-expect-to-win-yet-did an OOP Clapton "Layla Sessions" 3-cd, 20th anny. box, which really appealed to me because of that disc 2 jamfest with Duane, Gregg, Dickey, Butch, and Berry!!!
Hope everbody's still bathing in that warm Christmasy glow...now, speaking of submergence, I'm off to the pool, which has been closed for a couple days!/ peace, K
