[Hydrazoic Acid]

Although I'm not a fan of that style (you know, Aero ), but this song has made a good impression on me. Melodiously and pretty nice rhytmical components, just vocals... I really don't like her voice, so, 6/10.

Renegade by Thin Lizzy (Remastered). The critics sneered at this album, but I always loved it: Snowy White was ideal for them, Darren Wharton added some nifty keyboard touches, Chris Tsangarides gave them a clean production and Phil Lynott's lyrics were among his best. Criticism that Snow White was too much a blues guitarist for the band are nonsense (was Gary Moore too much a blues guitarist?) and the suggestion that Phil's vocals are flat due to drug intake is irrelevant - I think they are poignant and dark.

Every time I hear a Thin Lizzy album, I wish Phil Lynott was still alive. Renegade is a great album; the reissue has improved an already sharp sound and provided some singles, b-sides and promos as bonuses.

Ahh, too late. But in honor of one of the few very cool bands that embraced that sound (Missing Persons) I'll play something not quite Wave but by one of the bands that would kind of define the genre:

About Devo's song: pretty fresh and original sounding tune from recognized oddballs by music. 7/10.

I started really getting into music in the 70s. The 80s was a huge HUGE let down.

^ I think the early (pre-Crime of the Century) Supertramp is underrated.

The FOUNTAINS OF WAYNE song I found a bit light weight pop.Nevertheless its not bad, just not my cup of tea. 5.5 out of 10
