Police investigating Ariana Grande’s doughnut-licking video | Page Six

This news story just has me scratching my head all morning. Apparently, Ariana Grande was caught on video licking a doughnut and saying things that have gotten some people quite upset. Granted, this may not be considered the best behavior but does this really warrant a police investigation?

I was in Lake Elsinore a few months ago and I will swear in a court of law that I did not engage in any licking of donuts - well, not in public!

"Investigating" public-celebrity-donut-licking will keep the cops from getting themselves into trouble elsewhere.

This story is actually what prompted the Joe Friday thing today ... I think we should have him do the investigating!

Some of the younger members or those outside of the U.S. may not know who Joe Friday is ... there was an old t.v. show from I believe the late 1960's called Dragnet. Joe Friday was one of the characters. Friday and his partner, Bill Gannon, were plainclothes cops and in almost every episode, Joe Friday would give the suspect a lengthy lecture in morality and he called everyone 'punks!' There was a spin off of the show called Adam 12 (another cop show) and then a spin off from that show, called Emergency (fire fighters). We've been watching all the reruns on Netflix.

I don't know if Joe Friday could handle a pop star like Ariana What's-Her-Name! He'd tell her to put on some decent clothes befitting a young lady. Joe was a real square, maaaaan.

I'm glad you brought up Adam-12, I loved that one back in the day.

Oh, and Joe Friday's partner was played by Harry Morgan, later Col. Potter on Mash.
