I didn't know they still made that stuff. Don't think I've had it since college.

I understand it's not a popular choice over The Pond? A lot of people drink instant over here, whilst it's (obviously) never as good as freshly ground there are a few companies make a really decent instant coffee. I use instant when I can't be bothered with all the malarkey of brewing fresh in my percolator or cafetiere, mainly first thing in a morning!

Oh yeah, I know all about it. I went through quite a bit of it in college. It wasn't uncommon to see me rushing out the door almost late for a morning class and just grabbing the instant coffee jar/can and taking a scoopful to chew on while running off to class.

Yeah,nasty, but I know I wasn't the only one that did stuff like that on occasion.

Oh yeah! That is, if slowly dissolving sand-like substance that kinda/sorta tastes like coffee is your thing... it's pretty awesome!
