Awesome. I really hope I get the chance to see them live one day. Your daughter went with you, right? Did she enjoy it? Last but not least, do you like the new album?

Yeah, she loved the show, it was very good.

Love the new album. I know some longtime fans have kind of dismissed them a bit because they didn't necessarily like Magic Mountain as much as the first couple of albums. I like it. I like all 4 albums to varying degrees and for different reasons.

After the debut album, which is your next favorite? I own the s/t album and like it.

Honestly, I think it's almost a tie between Folklore and Superstition (2nd album) and Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea (3rd album) that would be my favorites. I like most of the first and fourth albums, but I truly like every single song on the two middle albums.


I can thank Magic for introducing me to them a couple of years back. Definitely one of the two best new bands I've heard from the past 10-15 years in my honest opinion.
