There is a certain amount of sensual atmosphere in that song, but in general, I don't really like it - no drive, no melody, no energy for me. Sorry. 4/10.

I bought "elemental" by Tears For Fears on cd at a thrift store a few years ago. I'll look into the others.

You don't necessarily find CDs you're looking for but you can find interesting ones for usually 50 cents at the most. That's good enough for me. I guess it just comes down to how open minded the buyer is.

I'm the same way Cosmic, i usually go to Half-Price Books or a place called Piranha Records, I just sift through all of the records and usually just stumble upon an album. Though i do admit most records in the dollar bin are either bad albums or good albums in horrible condition, i have found quite a few gems that must have been put in there by mistake.

Well there are always going to be more garbage records than good ones. That'll never change. It varies from place to place for me though but Half Price books is very good because they actually pay for the records that they stock so that means there is SOME degree of attention payed to quality, both in terms of condition as well as what the record actually is.

Not quite yet but later today I will open a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon I bought this morning.

There is a Massive new wine store that just opened here, truly staggering the amount of wine they have stocked and at reasonable prices too. Anyway I went to get some Stella Artois but was meandering in the wine section and this nice helpful clerk asked if I needed any assistance. I replied that I was just playing "tourist" and complimented her on the amount of good wines they had. She asked what kind I liked and I told her 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, she happens to be a big red fan as well so she recommended a couple of wines I haven't tasted yet. Usually I will buy Aussie/Chilean/Argentinian cabs only, but she convinced me to try this California wine that was on sale at a great price, so that is what I bought along with my beer.

We'll see if it measures up to my favorites, but even if it doesn't I enjoyed our conversation and allowed myself to be convinced to give it a shot.
