Playing this old vinyl record, bought in 1985, Dutoit and the Montreal Symphony performing Igor Stravinsky's most famous work, "The Rite of Spring".

Sounds fantastic so far.

Holy smokes a lightning strike hit just across the street...this is 4 days in a row for massive storms for us...fortunately it's not that humid so we don't need to worry about tornadoes.

While I can't keep up with Nolo as far as quantity goes, I'm doing fine for quality Vinyl treasures recently.

Picked up this 25th anniversary edition of Paul Simon's fabulous Graceland yesterday, brand new 180 gram audiophile vinyl pressing. I loved the CD and can't wait to give this one a spin.

Still hot here but it's supposed to drop a few degrees over the weekend and maybe a little rain. It's also the time of summer where it doesn't cool down much at night.

As if the heat wasn't enough we've had a little ground movement as well.
There was a 4.4 quake yesterday in Yorba Linda (the birthplace of Richard M. Nixon) and a couple of aftershocks today that just rattled the windows.
