Re: Post your latest CD/DVD/Vinyl/Cassette purchases here!

^^ If I may say, you should not hope all the records will be re-released as 180 grams, try to be more often in the second hand stores and I'm sure you will find some good treasures. :grinthumb

I'm off to my local record shop to get some Uriah Heep LPs (if they got their collection in stock finally).

Re: Post your latest CD/DVD/Vinyl/Cassette purchases here!

^^For many albums I don't have a choice and I have had some really good luck in the 2nd hand shops Nolo.

But the sheer scale of classic British rock you have access to is not available here, mostly American and Canadian artists which are plentiful.

I have a particular list of albums I want in the best quality possible, I know they are available so I don't mind paying more for them, the sound difference with my system is worth the extra expense. Having said that only 4 of the used albums I've bought have been in rough shape, when I get my cleaning machine they might be okay, that will be last after I get my new cartridge which is on order from Japan. Should be here by the first week of September.

^^ Would be great, if I can see that list, LG. Maybe I will be able to find something for you. :)

^^I already asked you to send your duplicates to me from your "scavanger" hunts Nolo...I'll pay the postage and even add a gratuity.:heheh:

I'm about 1/2 done my audiophile vinyl list, the ones that are left I have to order from the US...the new versions in my record store here are not the same, they are regular pressings and if I'm paying $20 a pop I want the very best I can get.
