Yes, I know, hardly the kind of record to crow about on a rock forum, but I like it.
Very 'ambient'.

I was listening to BLACKFOOT all day (and all night) yesterday into Saturday morning especially the albums STRIKES, TOMCATTIN' and MARAUDER and I 'really got into those three albums' BIG TIME rock dudes!!.

Of course I remember Ricky Medlock and the rest of the boys touring the UK back in the early 1980s and they picked up a lot of British fan's and were featured a number of times in SOUNDS and KERRANG back then.

Gary Rossington southern fried and finger licking gooood!!.

I've tried, but I really don't like this.
I liked much of his work with the Velvets but as a solo artist he never topped 'Transformer '.

I agree with you that his solo works could be much better. And yes, he was better with The Velvet Underground. I like their albums "Loaded" from 1970 and their album "Squeeze" from 1972.
