If your a young cat and you've never heard of any of 'the stones' albums before and you want to listen one to see what they were like then DON'T start with this album try Sticky Fingers or Some Girls instead. Their Satanic Majesties Request was a FAILED experiment although Bill Wyman's song In Another Land was possibly one of the better songs on the album and that's saying something??.

Agree, 'Their Satanic Majesties Request' is not one of their best albums but still listenable. My favorite song from the album is the song 'She's a Rainbow'. I must admit that I best like their other 60's and 70s albums.

I have listened to Their Satanic Majesties... a few times in the past and if you are familiar with the stones other albums then you will know it isn't one of their better albums and in fact it is possibly their worst album and I think all the band would go along with that. Strangely enough Bill's song In Another Land is my favourite track on the album and yeah She's A Rainbow is ok.
