My first music memory is listening to the Backstreet Boys album my mom had when she would pick me up from school when I was a little kid. :p

Then several years later when I was twelve I saw Daft Punk's "Interstella 5555" and it blew my mind.

I vaguely remember a song from when I was very young. I haven't been able to find it.

I think it might be a combination of Ventura Highway and Viginia (Touch Me Like You Do) in my memory.

I wish I could be sure. It drives me nuts when I think about it.

^Oh that sucks when that happens. There are a few songs that I wish I knew the names of as well. Sucky thing is, I know exactly how the sound, but I don't remember the lyrics too well. Drives me crazy.

I remember my Pops having this Beatles LP titled "Something Else".Being just a wee little kid, liking it so much I wore that record out. I also recall my parents taking me with them to watch "The Concert For Bangladesh" and being soooo bored. LOL! I happened to be at the cartoon age at the time.

Tie between demanding my Mom buy me a "Flying Burrito Brothers" (ugh) 8 track - yes, 8 track because I liked the cover, and inheriting an Arlo Guthrie record from my hippie brother, literally handed to me from an old VW van. IIRC one song went something like "I don't want a pickle, I just want to ride on my motorsickle..." Deep, eh? Luckily Mom knew better and lent me her beloved CCR records and righted that sinking ship at a very young age.

Yeah... I did not know at that age what the official releases were and what were just "quick buck" releases. I liked it enough to play constantly. As far as I remember that was the ONLY Beatles song in the household.

The ONLY other things in my life at the age were playing basketball and finding out that girls were a mystery worth exploring. Come to think of it...nothing has changed. Ha!
