what are some EPIC rock songs??

Anyone remember Todd Rundgren's Utopia? They made at least a couple of stunning albums, 'Ra' and 'Oops Wrong Planet', and one EPIC track called 'Communion with the Sun' - they were sort of Queen meets Yes meets Styx meets Kansas, pretty derivative stuff, but still worth a listen. Rundgren of course in addition to his own long and varied career as an artist is a pretty legendary producer, he produced Meatloaf's Bat Out of Hell, which alone probably means he could live on the royalties from that one record for the rest of his life!
