WARRANT: New Album Title Revealed - Feb. 24, 2011
Californian rockers WARRANT have set "Rockaholic" as the tentative title of their new album, due in May via Frontiers Records. The CD was produced by Keith Olsen, who has previously worked with OZZY OSBOURNE, WHITESNAKE and SCORPIONS, among others.
Commented bassist Jerry Dixon, "The last few years has been like holding in a big 'secret' from the world and now we get to share it.
"I really think we captured a perfect mix of the past and present on this record. Each song has its own vibe that's going to take people on a kick-ass WARRANT roller coaster ride.
"To help achieve an old-school sound mixed with the flair of today, we called on the legendary Keith Olsen to do the production.
"There's enough '80s influence on songs like 'Tears In The City' and 'Sex Ain't Love' to keep the die-hard WARRANT fans rocking while introducing them to new material."
In a recent online posting, WARRANT guitarist Joey Allen stated about the group's new CD, "The band did a stellar job — great songs, great playing, and an all-around great vibe. This is the best WARRANT record and recording experience I have had. . . Everyone is firing on all cylinders... Wait until you hear [new WARRANT singer Robert] Mason tear it up... KILLER."
