Vivian Campbell Reveals Hodgkin's Lymphoma Battle

Def Leppard guitarist, Vivian Campbell, has revealed he has been diagnosed and is being treated for Hodgkin's Lymphoma. He revealed on his facebook page it was discovered after visiting a doctor for a cough that wouldn't quit.

The only positive point to come out of things like this and also the Iommi situation is that it provides inspiration to fans going through similar challenges. Both have handled their respective battles with cancer in an incredibly dignified and honest fashion with not a trace of self indulgence or self pity. Iommi even had the balls to call his band's album 13 too. In other words "fate, do your worst". Now that's a man my son!
