i was talking about the swansong angel on the swansong records label in another thread and it got me thinking about the label's and the artwork that came a long with them.

i liked the vertigo label with the spaceships.

and a few bands had album art which made it on to the label too, like floyds "wish you were here" and several others. if i could i'd post some pics but i dont know how

One that I really like is the label on "Heartbeat City" (The Cars). There's a little gear around the hole on the record, so when it goes on the phonograph, it's like there's an axle through it.

I looked at the source code for this webpage and found the code you had pasted to display the pic. I think I know where you are going wrong, and it's an easy mistake to make. The code you inserted was this
<img src="http://http://static.rateyourmusic.com/lk/f/b/8825b32e3adb25185a36d65a6a46cc2d/837678.jpg" border="0" alt=" " /> which won't display on a forum, but just take out the code I've highlighted in red and instead insert

at the end is should display ok...

Which Image Host are you using? I find Tiny Pic is good TinyPic - Free Image Hosting, Photo Sharing & Video Hosting and easy to use. If you have a look at it and upload a pic from your files, you will see once it has uploaded you are given four seperate codes - you need to copy the second one down - the one that says "IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards". It looks like you copied the HTML code meant for displaying on websites which is why you just see a red cross in a box.
