Uriah Heep Live (1973) is wonderful. I really like Look At Yourself (1971) as well. Many Heep fans have diffy faves.

Absolutely love Uriah Heep. They have tons of great albums and they are still releasing strong albums today. In fact, one of the more recent ones, "Wake The Sleeper", ranks up there among my favourite Heep albums. That being said, there's just no getting past "Demons and Wizards", which is my absolute favourite.

Sweet Freedom & Wonderworld are really the last great work with Byron and two of my favorites.

I'm a huge John Lawton fan, so his three albums are a must for me.

Magicians Birthday and Demons & Wizards are their peak in every way as a band.

I would recommend any of the David Byron/Ken Hensley era albums, especially Salisbury, Look at Yourself and Demons and Wizards. The first five albums were amazing.

Beep have reunited with past members and played Moscow, I have seen it mentioned that they have made history but I believe I saw them in London a number of years ago in London when they reunited with past members and it was fantastic. Apparently they have not done it over here because no one has asked them.

I find that hard to believe as I used to pay for gold and silver tickets to pay them to do a show and record it, I have seen them many times and met them so there is still plenty of opportunity to play in this country and plenty of fans that will pay.

@joker1961 I agree that the first 5 Studio albums are the cream of the Heep. I would also add that Uriah Heep Live 73 is an AMAZINGLY awesome album and one my all time favorite live recordings , period.

This reunion didn't include Lawton, sadly.

I have nothing against the current line-up, but I'd love a full reunion/new album from Box/Lawton/Hensley/Kerslake/(bass player to be named later).

None of them are young men, and that's as close to the classic era as they could get. At least they could finish all the 5 Miles/10 Miles session tracks.
