All of you people know that there is a magnificent option on this forum to post Youtube video's embedded in the post. Well, I want to open some topics about bands that are not available on Youtube and because of that I want to upload the music myself. MP3 is not possible to upload to Youtube and that means I have to convert it to a video first.

Can anybody give me some advice in this matter?

OK, so for MP3 posting I would use something like www.mediafire.com. It gets it on the internet(uploaded) and can be shared from there as a link. No need to make it into a video. And its free...:D

Like this for instance, http://www.mediafire.com/?iimln0uwz4m will get you Trentmoller's "Moan". And this link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6G5UGybYN-E will get you the video through Youtube.

Not everything uploaded somewhere has to be a video, unless you really wanna make one...Then I think Oblivion may have a post somewhere about making Youtube Videos (which I don't know how to do either.)

Hope that helps...

What I want is to post songs on this forum like we do with Youtube video's so people can just click and listen to it. When I upload I don't want it to re-direct to a different page first. That's to much trouble and then people won't listen to the songs posted.

Do you understand my point?

SSV there is a simple tool that most PC's have called "Windows Movie Maker".

You can "import" images, like album covers, band pics, etc, then "import' the audio file (the music file)......after you have everything imported, you have an option to edit your work, then you "publish" it to a file format like WMV, or MP4.

Then you can upload it on youtube. :)

OR an even easier application to use is Zillatube. It is free for download for trial

or another freeware application that lets you use JPG images and MP3 files then converts them is umisic
