    G4 .... IMHO, has the two best guitarists in the entire list of this "elite eight". Both of them are almost religiously in my top5 list of favorite guitarists of all time. I'd be happy with either winning the entire competition, although I doubt either would. Giving SRV some love since he's getting slaughtered.

    I picked him too. I know Van Halen is considered a pioneer and is technically very proficient [which is not a knock on him] but Vaughan has soul and substance in his playing.
