One of my all-time favorite bands!

And yes - they were really underrated.

I searched out the first 2 many years ago and found them on old vinyl....... they are psychy and proggy space rock at times...and somewhat collectable with vinyl fans. When Schenker joined on Phenomenon they went into hard rock metal though they did sound a bit like Wishbone Ash at times which was ok ..Never got into the later hard rock/metal lps.

UFO connected- I bought a Pete Way 3-cd box set a couple of days ago that features 3-Pete Way cds recorded between 2000-2004 and the first of which is called 'Amphetamine' which was released around 2000 and I actually bought it back then although I didn't really listen to it anyway fast forward to now in 2025 and cos its in this 3-cd box set I bought it (the other 2-cds are a live in Cleveland cd and an acoustic only cd from Pete) and its BLOWIN ME HEAD OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Been playing it 24/7 even when I'm sleeping!!. The studio Amphetamine cd is Pete and his band a 3-piece in the studio and featuring a really good (unknown to me?) electric guitarist and a drummer and is a real raw sounding 'in ya face' studio recording with 3-demo tracks that all sounds 'raw' and LOUD the way I like my HEAVY ROCK to sound!!!. The only 'down side' to this 3-cd box set is for some reason the record label has changed the original cd cover which I liked showing 'some pills and drugs laying in a tray' (rock n roll I guess?) to a bland white cover with Pete's name and the name of the cd album???.

Awesome!

I love the Live In Cleveland album.

If you like those, you should definitely try and find this album..

It's Pete, with Michael Schenker and Jeff Martin on drums.

I will check it out TACdft thanx.

I haven't listened to any UFO for along time meaning years but one album that seems to get several good comments from both Phil Mogg and Pete Way in interviews back in the day was The Wild, The Willing And The Innocent which I've been kinda looking out for for a number of years if I every saw it although its probably available via Amazon no doubt.

I did have the acclaimed Strangers In The Night live album from 1978 back in the day in both the regular single cd form and also in a deluxe special double-disc cd form as well.

Have you heard the 2 Mogg/Way albums? Fortune Town from the 1st album was a bonus track on one of the Walk On Water releases. Great stuff.

Both Mogg/Way albums are excellent. They couldn't use the UFO name because it didn't involve Schenker, but that four album run of Walk On Water-Edge Of The World-Chocolate Box-Covenant is as good as any four album run in their catalog.
