Man, it's so cool to hear people finally acknowledging the importance of vynal. I remember having arguments with people who actually claimed digital recordings had an equal or even superior sound.

The first two UFO albums are almost like a different band but honestly these are the ones I grab for these days far more often than any other UFO work.

It's quite easy to get Strangers In The Night double LP in second hand shops, but I know your location and it's hard to find there. I got my copy for £3... and haven't played it yet.

vinyl rules, man. I wish it would remain a great well kept secret but it seems the secrets out. And I guess that's a cool thing.

I am not sure Nwobhm...I order from that online site which is in Pennsylvania and they scour the world for the vinyl. Two of my records were pressed in the Czech Republic, another was done in Germany and one in England. The rest were done on American specialty labels.

Regardless, that is a fantastic source for New vinyl, which I prefer to buying used editions...although I will have no choice when it comes to a few artists who have not had their classic albums re-released on vinyl.

I listened to the first UFO 1 album, mind-blowing. Never knew they did play such a brilliant heavy psych in the early days. The bass is one tasty piece of brilliance.

Boogie

C'mon Everybody

Come Away Melinda

Come Away Melinda is in my opinion much better version than what Uriah Heep did.

I'm with you on that!!! While I do like the "classic Schenker line up - UFO," I am personally more fond of the UFO and UFO 2 LPs. Very creative stuff! I own the UFO 2 LP on vinyl and LOVE IT!
