I heard about this on another forum. These are the things that I want to know regarding the next album:

1. Will she trim down the fat?? Her albums since Scarlet's Walk have been way too long for their own good!

I didn't bother listening to 2009's Abnormally Attracted because I was a bit disappointed by the filler on 2007's ADP.

But I cannot deny that I'm curious about the new album.

I like the fact that her last several albums have a lot of songs. It sure beats buying a twelve track album and then having to buy the cd singles to get the extra material (b-sides, covers, ect.,) back when cd singles were the norm.

Abnormally Attracted IMO is better than ADP.

The Beekeeper (2005) is the latest album of hers that I listen to, but Tori's music and aura are so much a part of who I am, I can't help but have positive expectations of anything new from her.

Me too! I plan on pre-ordering the deluxe edition. I only wish I could see her in concert again. The last time I saw her on stage was for the Scarlet's Walk tour.

New update: Tori's new album will be released May 12.

Cool. I'll get a feel first with some initial reviews I think, before diving in to this album. Her output these days is just not as consistent as before. That said, I thought the Night Of Hunters classical style album was quite good albeit slow paced.

I'm looking forward to the new album.

Although it is long, "Night of Hunters" is actually one of my favourite Tori albums.
