Never realised Status Quo's Rockin' All Over The World wasn't their own until I listened to this countdown yesterday. Some strange choices in my opinion, most notably Metallica's version of Whisky In The Jar coming in second. As much as I love Metallica there's no way their version is better than Lizzy's and to be runner up??! Would've liked to have seen Jeff Healey's cover of While My Guitar Gently Weeps in there, rather than Frampton's though he does do a great job of it.
I knew Jimi's All Along The Watchtower would take the top spot before the countdown began, but I think it very much deserves to be there.

3 GnR tracks on the list. It shows how OVERPLAYED this band is on the radio. Was glad to see Saxon, Whitesnake and Nazareth there (as well as Frijid Pink!).

Some really good songs I like on that list, I agree with Tray about Hendrix's cover being #1, not on my personal list.

Van Halen's cover is one of the best ever done, I prefer it to the Kinks original myself.

There a several I would have liked to see make it on a "top" list:

Santana's Black Magic Woman
Clapton's Cocaine
CCR's I Heard it Through the Grapevine

^^I concur I like all 3 of those songs better than the originals, especially Black Magic Woman.

The only cover GnR did that would make it to my list would be "Knocking on Heavens Door"

Metallica's "Whiskey in the Jar" would maybe make my list.

^^I think that's one of the worst covers, even though I'm not a big Dylan fan his original is way better than G'nR's cover.
