When i saw the title of the thread, Keith instantly and inevitably came to mind, despite considerable competition.

I've recently started to read his autobiography. I'm just at the part where he is in the Boy Scouts.........and he loved it :gig

A great read and i found the tales of his early life growing up in post-WWII England fascinating. Really a worthy document of the time and i found it more interesting than the later soap opera with Brian and Anita.

I'm just so glad that Eric Clapton came out on the other side and used it to help others.
