Psh, my dear, I am young. ;D
And yes, I did see the video. Justin must have been honoured to have the brothers make an appearance. I even have his version on transparent 7" vinyl.

Europe is always just a few steps ahead of America. ;D
That is my theory, at least.

I'll keep the ABBA love fest going, I bought this song on a 45 single when it was released it was the first ABBA song I had ever heard. But I never bought another ABBA record until a few years ago, their 2 CD compilation set.

There's quite a few bands I really like that I could never in a million years remember the first song I heard by them since my dad was playing their music from when I was a wee tot :)

Likewise though I've been told that when I was about three years old I got my Dad to put Zeppelin's Rock N Roll on repeat and I would listen to it for ages and ages dancing around non-stop :heheh:

^^Those are 3 Belters Spore, a great intro to three legendary artists and I love that song Sunny, one of their best.

Here's another one, the first Santana song I heard, my Mom was a huge fan of theirs so I got to borrow her records all the time.

Evil Ways.

Wild is the Wind, my first Bon Jovi song. I hope to see them live next year.

My first Abba song heard when I was very, very young:

I still have a soft spot for Abba, I have all their albums on cds and a few on vinyl .

Sox introduced me to a fair few bands when we got together ten years ago, we'd be trundling along in the car & on would come a song that I immediately loved but had never heard the band before. Here's a couple that stand out:

Since I went to see them earlier this year, thought I'd put down the first Jethro Tull song I ever heard. It wasn't until late 80's, and I had filched one of my dad's tapes to listen to, it was a compilation - The Marquee 30 Legendary Years (& I think I also got my first taste of Mott The Hoople on there too with All The Young Dudes)
